It all began in 2021 during NYSC in Ebonyi State, a place neither of us had planned to be. Looking back, we believe we were both there for a reason.

We met at the NCCF family house and soon discovered we were in the same unit, the Publicity Unit. What started as an occasional friendship grew closer when I became Assistant Publicity Secretary. Glory became a constant source of support, caring not just about my responsibilities but about my growth spiritually, professionally, and personally (including the days he would make me go to the State Library to study all day, from 9am to 6pm).

One moment I'll always remember was when my phone got spoiled and Glory, together with my sister Preye, surprised me with a new one. It was a simple gesture, but it showed me just how much he cared.

Three days before we left NYSC, Glory asked me out (he couldn't articulate his words very well 😂). I eventually said yes much later, and our friendship quietly became something more.

Four years later, on May 31, 2026, I planned a Sunday evening date for us, completely unaware that Glory had a beautiful plan of his own hidden inside mine. When the door opened, I was caught completely off guard. The place was filled with some of our closest friends, and there he was, down on one knee, asking me to be his wife.

I said yes.

And now, we're getting ready for forever.
